Frequently Asked Questions
Will I receive a new owner package?
You will receive a welcome package by mail from the Strata’s Property Management Company when you move into your home. It will contain important information about the Strata, the Strata By-Laws and other documents you will need to complete and send back to the Property Management Company. If you haven’t received this package upon move-in, please contact Warrington Property Management to request a package.
How do I update my personal or renter contact information?
You can use the following form to update contact information regarding your property. Once completed, please fax or mail to Warrington PCI Management.
Is permission required when redoing my roof?
Our Bylaws and direction from the owners regarding roofing material is very clear. Cedar or something that looks like cedar.
So far the only alternative material that has been approved is a product through Penfolds called Eco Roof. A number of units in the complex now have this material.
If you are using cedar or the Eco Roof, no permission from Council is required. If you find another alternate product that looks like cedar we would need to know of a couple of locations where it’s been installed so we could go look at it.
What materials may be used when replacing my roof or siding?
Replacement roof shingles can be the original preservative treated cedar shingles or
untreated cedar shingles or manufactured shingles approved by strata council.
Roof Shingles - Only the following manufactured shingles are currently approved for use:
EcoRoof Rubber Roof Shakes distributed by Penfolds (manufactured by G.E.M.Inc.).
Exterior Walls - wall shingles are to match the original preservative treated cedar shingles (#1-16”
Blue Label preservative treated cedar shingles)

What do we do if someone is parking in a way that interferes in getting to/from our home?
The allowable areas for parking are clearly defined and all owners and their guests are expected to comply as befits living in a community such as the Woodlands. If people are parking in contravention of the defined regulations, please start by simply talking to the owner(s) involved (they are also responsible for their guests). If after talking about the situation there remains an issue, please engage a member of the Strata Council to assist. However, if everyone respects their neighbour’s property access and commits to only parking in designated areas, there really need not be any parking issues in the Woodlands!
